Job Title:
Supply Chain AnalystJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to manage day-to-day Supply Chain MRP planning activities. This role involves direct purchase order placement, vendor communication and follow-up, reorder point and safety stock calculations, tactical communication across the organization, and supply risk assessment and communication. The position also supports implementing and supporting business tools and processes at a single site or moderate risk level, with a primary focus on tactical projects. Responsibilities + Manage day-to-day Supply Chain MRP planning activities, including direct purchase order placement and vendor communication. + Implement and support single site or moderate risk level changes to business tools and processes. + Analyze materials and sources to recommend improvements and enhancements. + Lead moderate and mid-level projects implementing process changes. + Communicate project status to management through status reports and formal updates. + Identify and establish single site or moderate level policies and procedures for the supply chain. + Define intermediate risk problems, collect and analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve desired results. + Develop and implement business process improvements. + Lead single site or moderate level cross-functional projects. + Provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers. Essential Skills + Minimum of a 2-year degree and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis. + 1 year of experience in MRP planning, preferably with SAP, within a manufacturing environment. + 1 year of experience with Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups. + Experience in supply chain, ERP, SAP, material planning, and inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience preferred. + Builds strong working relationships with internal and external customers. + Identifies unexpressed customer needs and potential products/services. + Seeks opportunities to learn from others and actively participates in personal development plans. + Demonstrates effective presentation skills and composes clear written materials. + Builds reciprocal working relationships across the organization and with customers. + Takes responsibility for addressing critical roadblocks to achieving goals. + Demonstrates a sense of urgency about results and technical/functional knowledge outside of core specialty. + Seeks out and works effectively with others who have different perspectives. Work Environment This role supports project rally in an onsite/offsite hybrid model, offering a flexible schedule. The position allows for opportunities to grow and potentially extend or convert within the organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
