Compensation Range:

$50-$60/hr

Not eligible for visa sponsorship This role supports the client's materials planning and S&OP processes by managing supply and demand planning, inventory analysis, and cross-functional reporting to ensure uninterrupted material availability across manufacturing operations. Job Summary Manage and support the S&OP process, including production and inventory forecasting, supply/demand balancing, and scenario planning Analyze SAP, Excel, and other system data to uncover planning insights and recommend strategy based on commodity type, lead time, logistics, and inventory DOS targets Build and maintain Excel macros and automated reporting to support planning decisions and increase operational efficiency Develop and evolve Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards providing real-time visibility into key planning KPIs Conduct materials health reviews and inventory analysis to optimize inventory levels and support plant material managers Deliver monthly reporting to Operations and Finance, and lead cross-functional planning meetings with stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, and operations Support manufacturing master data and provide ad hoc business analysis as needed

Minimum Requirements:

3-5+ years of experience in supply planning , materials management, production planning, or a related analytical role within a manufacturing environment Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formula development, charting, and macro creation Hands-on experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system for data extraction and materials planning Strong understanding of S&OP processes, inventory planning, and supply/demand management Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable presentations for operational and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau dashboard development Familiarity with MRP, JDA, or similar planning systems Background in data science or data engineering within a manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Project management experience, including leading small cross-functional projects; PMP certification is a plus
