Description Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating the implementation of system-wide cost containment programs relative to specific Supply Chain initiatives; coordinate and facilitate SMAC (Supply and Materials Action Committee) meetings along with sub-committee meetings and present results to Leadership to support decision making. Serves as a direct liaison to Physician Groups, Supply Chain and Hospital Management for system-wide product and vendor standardization; utilizes communication, in-service consultation, and education to ensure a seamless process in maximizing cost-saving opportunities. Analyzes financial, clinical, operational, and statistical data in support of organizational performance improvement (PI) initiatives and other projects. Formulates summary conclusions. Works with Leadership, and other organizational/external personnel as required. Makes financial decisions to support the Health System based on data from multiple sources. Works collaboratively with Clinician customers and Vendor partners to achieve the goals of Erlanger Health System.

Associate's Degree or equivalent extensive work experience in supply chain management or clinical setting

Responsible for coordinating the implementation of interdepartmental cost containment programs relative to specific Clinical Resource Management Committee initiatives, coordination and facilitating (as assigned) CRMC's and sub-committees meetings and present results to the system-wide CRMC Steering Committee. Serves as a direct liaison to Physician Groups, Supply Chain and Hospital Management for system-wide product and vendor standardization; utilizing communication, in-service consultation, and education to ensure a seamless process in maximizing cost-saving opportunities.
