Job Posting Title Supply Chain Analyst

  • Internal Materials Job Description Summary Dauch is searching for a Supply Chain Analyst
  • Internal Materials to join our team. This position will be based out of our Gallatin, TN location. The Supply Chain Analyst
  • Internal Materials is responsible for coordinating all activities related to planning, internal materials, and supply chain requirements.

Prepare demand analysis by reviewing customer orders, annealing schedules, and post annealed and finished goods inventory. Coordinate with manufacturing schedulers to align daily packing schedules with demand, operational plans and inventory requirements. Create and update monthly Pack Plan, based on order estimates and recent sales history. Provide order information and participate in daily production/shipping review. Lead weekly planning meeting, provide updated information concerning orders and material availability, and adjust annealing schedules, based on requirements determined from the meeting. Acts as main customer service contact for the facility. Provide estimated ready for shipment dates, order details, and requested production information. Maintain planning schedules for specialty products. Determine "pull" targets from recent sales history. Maintain monthly graphs for inventory and shipping rates. Review production records and finished goods to determine if schedules are achieved. Periodically review and adjust Target inventory levels. Provide forecast estimates of shipments and ending inventories in current month. Provide occasional emergency on call customer support. Ability to travel (10% or as required) for onsite customer meetings. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience. 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain (heavy manufacturing is preferred). Strong Excel skills Experienced in ERP software
