In this role, you will be instrumental in managing inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse operations, and supporting procurement and logistics functions. Your expertise will help ensure seamless stock management, reduce discrepancies, and improve overall process efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and technical proficiency will drive operational excellence. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as AS400 or SAP. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and root cause analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics teams to optimize sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage vendor relationships. Utilize data mining, data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, and analytics techniques to analyze inventory trends, demand planning data, and supply chain performance metrics. Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing warehouse operations, materials handling procedures, and shipping & receiving workflows to enhance efficiency. Assist in demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory replenishment using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, financial analysis, pricing strategies, and supply chain analytics for management review. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, or warehouse operations with a strong understanding of supply chain processes. Technical proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau), and ERP systems such as AS400 or SAP. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, and data collection for process optimization. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with procurement, merchandising, logistics, and supplier management teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate materials handling equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics), shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and materials management practices. Strong math skills combined with technical proficiency in supply chain analytics tools like Nielsen or demand planning software.
