Job Description:
Job Overview This position is responsible for material planning in the MRP/ERP system to help Master Scheduling develop and maintain an executable production schedule to meet customer request. The role will require making recommendations through data material analysis and reporting to help the stakeholders with project execution. This position will support Supply Chain team from PO receipt to delivery of projects. Please note : This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively "items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these regulations, it may be necessary for TE to verify a candidate's national origin and/or citizenship status to determine whether a U.S. or other government export license is required prior to releasing its technologies to the candidate. If TE determines that TE will require a license or will be prohibited by applicable laws from providing the candidate with items necessary for the performance of this position, then TE expressly reserves the right to either a) make an offer of employment contingent upon TE receiving required export licenses from the appropriate government agency, b) consider the candidate for a different position that is not subject to such restrictions, on whatever terms and conditions TE shall establish in its sole discretion, or c) decline to move forward with the candidate's application. Job Requirements Support Supply Chain Team by helping develop and maintain executable production schedules from backlog based off of material availability to achieve customer request. Lead the planning in the execution of the production plan in MRP/ERP Participate in daily tier and production meetings. Support master scheduling through validating data in system. Support shop floor with material flow disruptions. Support material strategies as needed to meet production schedules. Plan within MRP system the appropriate inventory levels to support desired customer delivery requirements. Provide suggestions for inventory levels of components and finished goods to support project execution. Work with procurement team to ensure PO execution and recommendations. Maintenance of the item master in MRP environment through material reviews. Ensure Engineering change notifications are captured and actioned. Provide feedback to sales and customer service to drive order improvements. What your background should look like BS or BA Degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field 2+ yrs Material Planning Analyst experience Experience Materials and Project Planning APICS certification or equivalency preferred Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast changing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure, balancing conflicting priorities and resource constraints Strong understanding of MRP logic and inventory control Experience MRP/ERP systems such as SAP and Global Shop Strong Computer skills; Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ability to analyze and reconcile material issues This job description is subject to change at any time.

COMPENSATION
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $ 71,700 - 89,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
