MANTECH seeks a motivated, forward-thinking
LOGISTICS ANALYST
to join our Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory team in
STAFFORD, VA
. In this entry-level role, you will help support critical Department of War projects and Marine Corps initiatives by applying commercial logistics best practices to defense supply chain challenges. You will work at the intersection of traditional logistics and emerging technologies, utilizing Logistics Information Technology (Log IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) awareness to help optimize operational readiness and distribution efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the planning, analysis, and execution of complex logistics operations for Department of War and United States Marine Corps (USMC) projects. Apply knowledge of commercial logistics principles to identify supply chain efficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities. Assist in evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on modern Logistics Information Technology (Log IT) systems to streamline material tracking. Research and assess the potential impacts and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to modernize supply chain forecasting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistics support aligns with strategic defense initiatives and operational mission requirements. Prepare briefings, analytical reports, and program summaries for program managers and key stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Entry-level (0 to 3 years) practical experience or internship background in commercial logistics, supply chain operations, or material management. Familiarity with or prior exposure to Department of War or Department of Defense projects, structures, and initiatives. Basic understanding of Marine Corps logistics efforts, doctrine, and operational support requirements. Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with current Logistics Information Technology platforms, ERP systems, and supply chain databases. Foundational knowledge or strong interest in how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are transforming modern logistics. Possession of or ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance. Clearance Requirements Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other equipment. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
