Lakeside Foods is seeking aMaterials Coordinator to support daily replenishment, inventory management, and order coordination for assigned materials and accounts. This role works crossfunctionally to ensure efficient material flow across labeling and packaging facilities while supporting forecast accuracy, artwork approvals, and inventory risk management. Longterm growth opportunities with a stable, familyowned company What You'll Do Monitor systems and reports to ensure packaging inventory levels support production schedules
Identify and resolve daily material shortages in coordination with internal customers
Request and reconcile physical inventories at labeling and packaging facilities as needed
Serve as the primary internal and external contact for assigned accounts on all packagingrelated matters
Coordinate interplant inventory transfers, provide inventory balances, and manage design transitions
Maintain packaging version control and oversee inventory transitions to limit company liability
Verify accuracy of product, planning, and material data in applicable systems and communicate required updates to Data Governance
Notify Data Governance of changes to suppliers, pricing, or lead times
Create and manage purchase orders, utilizing system planning recommendations
Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure ontime delivery; expedite as necessary
Manage purchase order accuracy including quantities, pricing, and resolution of vendor or receiving issues
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Review and approve new or revised customer packaging artwork, collaborating with Quality and maintaining appropriate documentation
Partner with Sales and Forecasting to support forecast accuracy and resolve planning issues
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and suppliers to address packaging size or quality concerns
Determine and manage disposition of obsolete, rejected, or aged packaging
Conduct safety stock analysis and recommend adjustments
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned What You'll Bring
Education & Experience Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management certificate, or related field preferred
Three or more years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain functions
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered Skills & Abilities Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Independent work style with minimal supervision
Solid problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, email and electronic file management
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
