$151,000 - $185,000 Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Jensen Road Prattville, AL Containerboard Paper Mill The Job You Will Perform:
Championing safety efforts by modeling and maintaining an environment of safe work practices. Taking a proactive approach to safety management and building a resilient Safety program. Efficient operation and management of the Pulp and Woodyard Departments. The Pulp area includes 3 Kamyr Digesters, 5 Washlines, Chip supply, and Turpentine recovery systems. The Woodyard area includes two wood lines. The #1 yard consists of two Portal (P&H) Cranes, Debarking drum, and Chipper. The #1 yard chips both Hard and soft wood. The #2 yard consists of a Radial (Kockums) crane, Slasher deck, Log flume, Debarking drum and Chipper. Providing leadership and resources to support engagement and a high performance work team. Championing the 1:1 process and developing both hourly and salaried direct reports. Understanding Customer Satisfaction and being committed to products that consistently meet product specifications. Taking initiative to pro-actively deal with issues both with the team and cross functionally, ensuring communication flows to and from the team. Leading a team in goal setting and performance management consistent with company and mill direction. Understanding the environmental impacts of production processes to ensure continuous compliance. Setting clear expectations and holding employees accountable for meeting them. Developing and maintaining excellent manufacturing systems. Managing department budgets and Annual outage spend.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Technical Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience 8-10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a Pulp mill. Proven Safety Leadership Skills Proven Leadership of hourly employees, preferably in a union environment Demonstrated competence to work with minimum supervision and with all levels of mill management. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
