JOB SUMMARY

Martin Marietta is currently seeking a Foreman to supervise operational activities for Des Moines Portable 1. Responsibilities include supervising plant production, plant maintenance and mobile equipment operations across multiple sites as needed. This operation supports our Winterset, IA, Springfield, NE, and Fort Calhoun West, NE locations, as well as other sites as required. Regular travel between locations is an essential function of the position. Work Environment This job operates frequently in operations and maintenance environments in open pit quarry locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Required Education and Experience Previous experience in aggregate operations High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 4+ years related experience Previous supervisory experience in a mining environment Must have a valid U.S driver's license Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent experience Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment
