Job Description

Job Summary:
The E-Coat/Powder Paint Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the e-coat and powder coating process, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role involves managing a team of powder coaters, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
    Supervision and Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of powder coaters, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
    • Schedule and assign work to ensure timely completion of production targets.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
    Quality Control:
    • Monitor the powder coating process to ensure high-quality finishes.
    • Conduct regular inspections and tests to maintain quality standards.
    • Implement corrective actions for any quality issues.
    Process Management:
    • Oversee the setup and operation of e-coat and powder coating equipment.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
    • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
    Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
    • Conduct safety training and regular safety audits.
    Coordination and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
    Qualifications:
    THREE YEARS
    of PRIOR E-COAT and/or
    POWDER COATING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
    Proven leadership and supervisory skills. Strong knowledge of e-coat and powder coating processes and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Exposure to powder coating materials and chemicals.
