HEAD CLUBHOUSE MANAGER

The Sussex County Miners, a professional baseball team in the Frontier League, are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the position of Clubhouse Manager. As the Clubhouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of game days, providing essential support to our team of professional athletes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage a multicultural and bi-lingual locker room, organize equipment inventory, maintain hygiene standards, and oversee meal planning for our athletes.

Responsibilities:

Locker Room Management:

Manage a multicultural and bi-lingual locker room consisting of professional athletes, creating an environment that allows them to perform at their highest level. Ensure the Home and Away locker rooms meet professional hygiene standards for over all 51 games during the 2027 season.

Facility Preparation:

Prepare the clubhouse, including locker rooms for umpires, home, and away teams before each game. Conduct post-game cleaning to maintain the facility's readiness for the following day's game.

Equipment Inventory:

Organize and manage equipment inventory, including baseballs, bats, uniforms, and other necessary gameday equipment. Track inventory levels, request orders as needed, and ensure all equipment is in optimal condition for game days.

Meal Planning and Preparation:

Plan, acquire, and prepare Game Meals for 30 athletes, staying within budget while providing adequate nutritional value. Consider dietary restrictions and preferences of athletes, ensuring meals contribute to their peak performance.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team's schedule. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse and multicultural group of athletes and staff. Knowledge of baseball equipment and facilities management is a plus. The nature of this position is demanding, requiring a candidate with grit and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging sports environment. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain a positive attitude under pressure is essential.
