Job Summary The Support Services Supervisor directs engineering department employees at the mine site level to support the mining operations by providing civil, reclamation, design, construction, utility relocation, dewatering, environmental, and management expertise. The position will develop budget estimating and tracking for capital and O&M projects to support mining operations. Job Description Key Accountabilities
- Manage short- and long-term engineering tasks of design, problem solving, analysis, planning, and project evaluation to support the mine.
- Create annual capital and O&M budgets that result in meeting or exceeding corporate objectives including safety, financial and regulatory.
- Provide direct contractor management for projects, specific construction management responsibilities, cost control, resource management, oversight and support for vendor selection, and project documentation, and reclamation activities to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Demonstrates effectiveness in leadership, people skills, communication, problem solving, and team building. Supervise 1 to 4 personnel who provide project management, design, reclamation, and construction support.
- Represent Kosse and Bremond Mines in regulatory negotiations with the RRC, TXDOT, and MSHA, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent with minimum 10 years of experience in mining or power generation OR college/technical degree in related field with 6+ years of experience required.
- Working knowledge of scheduling, cost control, surveying, contractor management, drone applications, Maximo, engineering principles, and construction practices highly preferred.
- Profession Engineering License is an additional asset.
- Experience managing technical or operations teams, working knowledge of software for the position (AutoCAD, MS Office, or hydraulic software), and leadership skills are strong qualifications and a competitive edge. Key Metrics

- Development of trusting relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Ensured regulatory and environmental compliance with all state and federal requirements
- Execute company safety policy and help the sites where projects are following the safety requirements.
