We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor with strong excavator operating experience to lead demolition crews and oversee safe, efficient job-site operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment and can effectively supervise personnel, coordinate daily work, and maintain a strong focus on safety and productivity. - Supervise daily demolition activities and assigned crew members.
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Safely demolish and dismantle structures according to project plans and site requirements.
- Direct equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors on the job site.
- Inspect work areas and identify potential safety hazards.
- Ensure OSHA and company safety procedures are followed.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to keep projects on schedule.
- Monitor production and communicate progress, issues, and delays to project management.
- Assist with equipment inspections and report maintenance or mechanical issues.
- Ensure proper sorting, handling, and removal of demolition debris.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
- Train and mentor crew members on safe work practices and equipment procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous demolition or heavy construction supervisory experience.
- Proven experience operating excavators in demolition environments.
- Strong knowledge of demolition methods, equipment, and job-site safety.
- Ability to read and understand site plans and project instructions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
- OSHA training/certification is a plus.
- Equipment certifications are preferred.
