This role combines hands-on leadership with equipment operation and field management. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, and help the team keep improving. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate crews on excavation, grading, utilities, and site work projects Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, trucks) as needed Use GPS equipment for accurate grading and excavation Read plans, set grades, and ensure work meets specifications Plan daily work, assign tasks, and keep projects on schedule Promote the most efficient, least-waste methods on every job Monitor safety, quality, and production Communicate with the owner, clients, and inspectors as needed Maintain equipment and jobsite organization Mentor crew members and support a positive, accountable team culture What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or lead operator in excavation / civil construction Strong heavy equipment operating skills Experience with GPS equipment preferred Ability to read plans, set grades, and manage field production Mindset focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and accountable Willingness to work outdoors and lead by example Ready to apply?
