Four days per week (approximately five hours per day)
Compensation:
Hourly rate based on experience About RID The Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths (RID) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing healthcare-associated infections through education, advocacy, public policy, and patient empowerment. RID is seeking an experienced nonprofit professional to oversee the organization's operations, financial management, fundraising, communications, compliance, and administration. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in nonprofit management, operations, office management, executive administration, fundraising, or business operations. Primary Responsibilities Nonprofit Administration Manage day-to-day nonprofit operations Supervise Office Assistant Conduct performance reviews Ensure compliance with nonprofit bylaws Prepare Board meeting materials and financial reports Coordinate annual Board meeting Maintain corporate records Submit annual nonprofit filings, including NYS CHAR500 and Connecticut charitable registration Renew Directors & Officers insurance Finance & Accounting Develop and monitor annual operating budget Manage organizational bank accounts and investment accounts Process payroll using iSolved Review contractor invoices and timesheets Pay vendors and contractors Record donations and bank deposits Maintain accurate financial records Bookkeeping Perform account reconciliations using QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain accounting records Coordinate annual financial review and audit Organize IRS, charitable registration, insurance, and legal documentation Fundraising & Development Coordinate fundraising campaigns Plan donor events Maintain Bloomerang CRM Manage donor acknowledgments Research grants Assist with grant proposal development Coordinate annual appeal campaign Marketing & Communications Manage WordPress website Publish monthly newsletters Coordinate speaking engagements Manage YouTube channel Create social media content Conduct media outreach Identify Google Ad Grant and other nonprofit marketing opportunities Qualifications Preferred experience in: Nonprofit management Operations management Office management Executive administration Accounting or bookkeeping Budget management Fundraising Donor relations Event planning Marketing Communications Grant writing CRM management Software Experience QuickBooks Online Microsoft Office Google Workspace WordPress Bloomerang Canva YouTube Facebook X (Twitter) Required Skills Organizational leadership Project management Financial management Excellent written and verbal communication Time management Attention to detail Problem solving Ability to work independently Relationship building Additional Information References required Background check required Computer and sit-stand workstation provided •Full-time opportunity also available Applicants with experience as a Nonprofit Director, Executive Director, Director of Operations, Office Manager, Operations Manager, Development Manager, Program Director, Administrative Director, or Business Manager are encouraged to apply.
