Job Description

Under the general direction of the District Executive/District Vice President, the Executive Director manages the overall operations of a Family Center, including staff and programs. The Executive Director supervises, develops and implements a full range of services including Membership, Wellness, Aquatics, Sports and Family Programs, Facilities Management, Scholarship and Board Development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in operations management in health and wellness or similar industry experience required. Minimum of 3 years progressively responsible experience with fiscal management, including budget development, revenue growth, member retention, fundraising, program management, community relationship building required. Experience in working closely with volunteers required; board leadership and/or volunteer leadership committees highly preferred. Microsoft Office proficiency required. With the ability to learn and adapt to new technology. Ability to understand, adapt to and interact with diverse people, teams, perspectives and cultures. Must obtain within 60 days of employment and then maintain current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen Administration.
