Job Description
Non-Profit Executive Director Bishop & Company is seeking an experienced Executive Director on behalf of the Hawaii Parkinson Association, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to helping Hawaii's community live well with Parkinson's Disease through education, outreach, support, and advocacy. Lead a Mission That Matters This is an opportunity to lead a respected Hawaii nonprofit and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by Parkinson's Disease. As Executive Director, you will serve as the face of the organization, fundraiser, and community ambassador, working alongside the Board of Directors to advance the organization's mission and long-term growth. What You'll Do Lead fundraising, donor cultivation, and sponsorship efforts Develop and execute organizational strategy and annual goals Manage budgets and organizational operations Partner with the Board of Directors on governance and planning Build relationships with donors, healthcare providers, and community partners Serve as HPA's primary spokesperson and representative Recruit, engage, and support volunteers and community advocates What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising, development, executive leadership, or related experience Proven success securing donations, sponsorships, grants, or other fundraising revenue Experience managing budgets, strategic initiatives, and stakeholder relationships Experience working with boards, volunteers, and community partners Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills Experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
