Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will play a vital role in leading our non-profit organization and driving its mission forward. This position will allow you to make a significant impact on the community and contribute to positive social change. Duties Develop and execute strategies as directed by the Board of Directors to achieve the organization's mission and goals Lead and manage the daily operations of the organization. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including board members, staff, volunteers, and donors Oversee grant compliance and reporting for programs and initiatives Implement marketing and communication strategies to raise awareness of the organization's work Collaborate with the board of directors to establish and implement policies and procedures Provide leadership and support to staff member(s), fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture Develop and maintain strong partnerships with other non-profit organizations and community stakeholders Attend board meetings monthly and give staff reports Coordinate bi-monthly newsletter and email blasts Assist with permits for events and coordination of volunteers. Requirements At least 3-5 years of experience within a non-profit organization. Preferred leadership responsibilities. Strong understanding of non-profit management principles and practices Must be able to pass a criminal background check Proven track record of successful fundraising and grant writing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting Experience working with a board of directors and managing board relations Passionate about social change and making a positive impact on the community Benefits Hybrid schedule to accommodate work-life balance. 9-3pm Mon-Thursday-in office. Friday (Office closed) Remote/or in office planning day. Occasional nights/weekends for event support. 11 holidays plus 2 floating holidays. Accrued vacation time and accrued sick time. Pay:
