Job Description

. Executive DirectorOur client is seeking an Executive Director for their team! This hands-on leadership role is perfect for a collaborative, approachable professional who can move comfortably between strategy, fundraising and community relationships, staff and guest needs, financial oversight, and other demands of a small nonprofit organization.



Responsibilities of the Executive Director Partner with the Board and its committees on strategy, policies, priorities, and organizational performanceManage staffing needs including scheduling, hiring, onboarding, payroll, performance feedback, professional development, personnel records, and workplace concernsDevelop and maintain volunteer programBuild and steward relationships with community stakeholdersDevelop and implement fundraising strategyPartner with financial staff on annual budget, cash flow, revenue, expenses, variances, and authorized expendituresOversee property maintenance, housekeeping, repairs, vendors, building and security systems, emergency preparedness, and risk-management practicesMaintain policies and proceduresQualifications of the Executive DirectorLeadership or management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or other mission-driven organizationBachelor's degree or relevant nonprofit management experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education, experience, and demonstrated leadership will be consideredFinancial literacy and experience developing, managing, or monitoring an organizational budgetExperience in fundraising, donor stewardship, grant writing, and/or external relationsExcellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, organization, and follow-through abilitiesSound judgment, discretion, and respect for confidentialityPlease share your resume in confidence for this direct-hire Executive Director opportunity offering competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
