The Gathering Source Executive Director Purpose:
The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of The Gathering Source (TGS) to forward its mission and vision in accordance with Board approved goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary spokesperson for The Gathering Source (TGS), Leads the identification and prioritization of short and long-range organizational goals, Ensures financial and human resources are best applied to achieve TGS' mission and vision, Programs
- Oversees the operations and performance of the Food Pantry, Weekend Meals Packs, School Supplies Backpacks and Other programs, Volunteers
- Ensures recruitment, scheduling and positive performance of volunteers, Social media
- Coordinates promotion of TGS, program and other communications (e.g., Facebook posts, website, newsletters, annual reports, etc.) with Social Media Director, Community outreach
- Facilitates TGS' presence at various community events, Fund Development
- Performs or oversees, in conjunction with Board Members and volunteers, all fundraising and grant writing activities.
Treasury / Finance
- Oversees processing of funds received, bank deposits, donor system entry, invoices, payments and bookkeeping therefore as well as preparing financial reports, Budgeting
- Prepares annual income and expense budget for Board approval, IT
- Coordinates IT needs and work performed with outside service providers, Facilities
- Uses inside and outside service providers to ensure the security, maintenance, and repair of the TGS facilities and equipment and Other tasks as mutually agreed.
Primary gifts, talents, and qualifications desired: Ready for C level leadership, Prior successful management experience in a non-profit, Outgoing with excellent people skills Ability to plan, prioritize and organize Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong with computer applications
