This position is ideal for a professional with 5-7 years of manufacturing quality experience who is ready to grow into a senior leadership role. Approximately 60% of the role will focus on quality management and 40% on continuous improvement. Primary Responsibilities Quality Management

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing quality activities.
• Develop standardized inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Improve first-pass yield and reduce internal defects.
• Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
• Develop quality metrics and dashboards. Supplier Quality
• Develop supplier scorecards and corrective action processes.
• Improve incoming material quality.
• Partner with Materials on supplier development. Continuous Improvement
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Develop Standard Work and visual management.
• Reduce waste and improve process flow.
• Support value stream improvements. Problem Solving
• Lead structured problem solving using PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis, Process Mapping, and Poka-Yoke. New Product Introduction
• Support pilot builds, manufacturability reviews, inspection standards, and production validation. Customer Quality
• Analyze warranty trends, investigate field failures, and improve customer satisfaction. Leadership
• Train supervisors and employees on quality standards and Lean principles.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement. QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems. Preferred
• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• ASQ CQE or CQT certification.
• APQP, PPAP, and Supplier Quality experience.
• Experience in consumer durable goods or sporting goods manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC). Key Performance Indicators
