Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Roth is a privately held, employee-owned organization and maintains offices throughout the U.S. Roth is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate to our Consumer Team. The Investment Banking Associate serves as a key member of deal teams, bridging execution and client management responsibilities. This role involves greater ownership of financial analysis, deal materials, and process management, with increasing exposure to direct client interaction and deal negotiation support. This in-person role will be in the firm's Newport Beach, CA office. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Lead the development and quality control of complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger consequences, accretion/dilution) and valuation analyses Oversee preparation of pitch books, management presentations, offering memoranda, and other transaction materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency Manage day-to-day workstreams on live transactions, coordinating across internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, tax) Participate in client meetings and calls, contributing to strategic discussions and deal positioning Support due diligence processes, including managing data rooms and identifying key risks or issues for senior banker review Review and guide the work of Analysts, providing feedback on modeling, formatting, and analytical rigor Assist in deal structuring, negotiation support, and drafting of transaction documentation Conduct industry and company research to support origination efforts and new business development
