Do you have experience as an Operions Research Analyst? If so, then the United Stes Space Force's (USSF) Comb Forces Command (CFC) is looking for you to serve as an Offensive and Defensive Space Control (ODSC) Operions Research Analyst in the Astrodynamics Division. Ideal Candide :

This position requires a highly cleared, quantitively skilled professional capable of leading cost estimion and modeling efforts under strict nional security guidelines. To qualify for this role, candides must have a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility, passing a Counterintelligence Polygraph, and adhering to the Air Force drug testing policy. Academically, the position demands a college degree with least 24 semester hours in operions research, mhemics, stistics, or reled quantitive sciences, alongside compliance with DAWIA requirements. Professionally, the candide must possess capabilities in stregic planning, cost analysis, and operions research, specifically for defense weapon systems. They must be skilled in building predictive models, running simulions, and utilizing advanced da collection techniques to guide acquisitions under constrained budgets. Finally, the role requires strong stregic leadership and coalition-building skills, with the flexibility to travel for temporary duty assignments.

Key Skills and Abilities :

1. Expert skill in presenting/defending findings and recommendions with respect to military utility analysis, multi-objective decision analysis, optimizion, and other analysis concepts. 2. Expert knowledge and skill in a broad range of operions research techniques; classical and modern higher mhemics; possession of analytical abilities. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitive and/or quantitive methods for the assessment and improvement of operional mission system. 3. Ability to execute complex projects and/or studies within established time constraints. Ability to advise senior leaders, Program Element Monitors and field-level representives. 4. Ability to apply quantitive techniques and develop, adapt, and modify modeling, simulion, and analysis techniques to solve problems or define and clarify alternive solutions for senior management. 5. Ability to plan, coordine, organize, and direct technical, analytical, engineering and scientific personnel and combine in-house and external resources for complex analytical and technical projects. Ability to communice effectively both orally and in writing; negotie complex issues; and maintain good working relionships. Maintain good team building skills and working relions with superiors, and peers. 6. Knowledge of safety and security regulions, practices, and procedures. This position is designed as a Testing Designed Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in a reled technical discipline such as operions research, mhemics, computer science, or one of the physical sciences, or engineering. Advanced degrees(s) are preferred. Must exhibit a high degree of sound judgment, initiive, resourcefulness, originality, and the ability to foresee the impacts of changing technology on scientific studies. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis. Eligible for situional telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework". Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments. Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): 15 days a year.
