Type:
full-time Position Overview Fuse Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations Analyst / Associate to support the day-to-day operations of its commercial real estate lending and real estate portfolios. The role works closely with the Operations, Lending, Accounting, Legal, and Real Estate teams and provides exposure to a broad range of activities across the commercial real estate lifecycle, including loan administration, construction draws, portfolio monitoring, payoffs and post-closing activities, property and tenant operations, reporting, and documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders, and able to take ownership of assigned matters through completion. Prior commercial real estate experience is preferred, but strong work habits, attention to detail, judgment, and follow-through are equally important.
Key Responsibilities Lending:
Loan Administration & Portfolio Monitoring
- Maintain and reconcile loan information across internal loan dashboards, accounting records, and portfolio management systems.
- Monitor loan balances, interest rates, maturity dates, extension options, escrows, reserves, property taxes, insurance, financial reporting requirements, and other key loan obligations.
- Prepare and review recurring loan billing statements and supporting schedules.
- Track outstanding loan related items and proactively follow up with borrowers and internal teams through resolution.
- Review loan documents and identify relevant economic and operational terms.
- Assist with ongoing portfolio reporting, reconciliations, and management reporting. Construction Loan Administration
- Coordinate and review construction draw packages, including draw requests, AIA

documentation, engineer and inspection reports, invoices, lien waivers, title updates, change orders, and other supporting documentation.
- Reconcile draw requests to prior draws, approved construction budgets, funded amounts, and remaining loan proceeds.
- Track construction budgets, funded amounts, holdbacks, and outstanding draw requirements.
- Identify missing information, liens, discrepancies, unsupported costs, budget issues, or other matters that may affect funding and escalate as appropriate.
- Coordinate with borrowers, contractors, engineers, title companies, Accounting, Lending, and other parties to resolve outstanding draw items and facilitate draw processing.
- Prepare draw summaries and supporting information for management review and approval.
- Coordinate approved disbursements with Accounting and maintain accurate draw records. Payoffs & Post Closing Loan Activities
- Prepare and assist with the review of payoff calculations and payoff letters, including principal balances, accrued interest, per diem interest, reserves, legal fees, exit fees, and other applicable amounts.
- Support partial paydowns, extensions, modifications, forbearances, and other post closing loan activities.
- Prepare supporting calculations and documentation based on applicable loan terms and approved transaction structures.
- Coordinate with Accounting, Legal, Lending, borrowers, title companies, and other parties to obtain required information and resolve outstanding items.
- Maintain organized records of loan activity, approvals, and supporting documentation. Interest Rate & Loan Data Management
- Monitor and update applicable floating interest rates and benchmark rates.
- Maintain supporting documentation for rate resets and ensure approved rates are accurately reflected in loan systems and billing.
- Reconcile loan information across internal systems and identify discrepancies requiring correction.
Real Estate:
Real Estate & Property Operations
- Support ongoing operational matters across the company's real estate portfolio.
- Review leases and related documentation to identify key terms, including rent obligations, security deposits, maintenance responsibilities, insurance requirements, and lease expiration dates.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding rent, property expenses, utilities, insurance renewals, lease-related deadlines, and other property-level items.
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, vendors, Accounting, Legal, and the Real Estate team to resolve outstanding operational matters.
- Review property-level financial and operating information, including rent rolls, income and expense statements, and other recurring property reports.
- Assist with tenant notices, lease extensions, move-outs, security deposit matters, repairs, insurance claims, and other property-related matters as needed.
- Review vendor invoices and supporting documentation and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams for processing.
- Assist with property inspections and other Real Estate team projects as needed. Documentation, Reporting & Operational Support
- Maintain complete and organized electronic and physical loan, property, lease, and other operational records.
- Prepare loan one pagers and other recurring documentation using approved templates.
- Assist with quarterly reporting, investor documentation, insurance tracking, entity management, and other recurring operational matters.
- Help maintain and improve internal trackers, workflows, reporting processes, and portfolio management systems.
- Support management with special projects across the Lending and Real Estate portfolios as needed. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years in commercial real estate lending, construction lending, private credit, banking, loan servicing, real estate operations, property management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate loan documents, leases, and/or post-closing loan administration preferred.
- Experience with construction draws, including
AIA G702/G703
forms, inspection reports, lien waivers, construction budgets, and title updates, is a strong plus.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial information, loan schedules, reconciliations, and property-level reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and potential issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams and with external counterparties.
- Experience with Yardi or similar real estate accounting or portfolio management systems is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus.
