Job Description

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union (HCFCU) is looking for a qualified Operations Officer, an important and integral part of the team at our Kaloko branch.
Duties:
Responsible for the recording of payments, deposits, and withdrawals made to or from the Credit Union in accordance with the objectives, procedures, and policies established by management and the Board of Directors. Maintains control of all change fund, petty cash, and all daily over-the-counter receipts and disbursements. Ensures that all reports, records and other valuables for the teller counter area are cleared and properly secured in the vault before leaving the premises for the day. Supervises Teller Clerks I & II as well as Senior Teller. Coordinates work schedules and vacation schedules for Operations department personnel. Knowledge of rules, regulations, compliance and laws which relates to the Operations of the Credit Union. Must have ability to supervise employees, handle complaints and grievances following established procedure.
Qualifications:
High school graduate / GED or equivalent with four (4) years of teller experience in a financial institution. Knowledge of computer systems (PC or PC Compatible), word processing and spreadsheet preferred. Knowledge of rules, regulations, BSA compliance and laws which relates to Financial Operations. Must have ability to supervise employees, handle complaints and grievances following established procedure. HCFCU offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. Our open position is flexible to fit an Officer I or II depending on experience.
