Job Description
Position Summary First Neighbor Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Deposit Operations Analyst to support the daily operations of our Deposit Operations Department. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of operational activities while maintaining compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a passion for providing exceptional service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily Deposit Operations functions. Review large-dollar transactions and account activity. Perform online banking maintenance and file maintenance activities. Complete deposit account checkback processing. Track audits and maintain operational records. Index and manage documents within bank systems. Process sweeps, repos, pledging activities, foreign currency transactions, and check processing functions. Handle death notice processing and related account maintenance. Assist with operation and administration of the bank's instant issue debit card program. Support implementation of new procedures and responsibilities assigned to the Deposit Operations Department. Assist with Regulation CC compliance activities across all branch locations. Provide customer service support when needed. Work scheduled Saturdays as assigned by branch management. Maintain knowledge of applicable banking regulations, compliance requirements, and bank policies. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and community contacts. Represent First Neighbor Bank professionally in the community to promote visibility and business growth. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. Three to five years of related banking, operations, or financial services experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Working knowledge of banking regulations and deposit operations functions. Proficiency with computers, banking systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to any First Neighbor Bank location as needed. Why Join First Neighbor Bank?
