Job Description

Overview We are seeking a results-driven Continuous Improvement Specialist to support and enhance materials planning, inventory control, and supply chain operations . This role focuses on improving material flow, reducing waste, and optimizing processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across materials, inventory, and supply chain functions Analyze and improve material flow, inventory accuracy, and replenishment processes Identify and eliminate waste in areas such as excess inventory, shortages, delays, and inefficiencies Partner with Materials, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve on-time delivery and production support Develop and implement standard work, KPIs, and reporting tools to track performance Drive improvements in MRP/ERP system usage, data accuracy, and process consistency Support cycle counting, inventory control, and root cause analysis for discrepancies Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban) within warehouse and materials operations Improve supplier communication and material planning processes to reduce disruptions Support forecasting and planning efforts to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules Train team members on continuous improvement tools and best practices Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory control Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience with inventory management, forecasting, and material flow optimization Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement tools Strong analytical skills with experience in KPIs, reporting, and data analysis Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Must know CAD What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits (medical, dental, vision) Opportunity to drive impactful supply chain and materials improvements Collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment Additional Information On-site role with direct interaction across materials, production, and supply chain teams

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
