Quality and Process Control Manager Posted on August 3, 2026 August 3, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a Quality and Process Control Manager to lead quality assurance and process control initiatives that drive operational excellence, process stability, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, process optimization, and team leadership, with a proven ability to implement data-driven strategies that improve product quality, reduce defects, and enhance overall manufacturing performance. Position Responsibilities Build & Lead the Quality Organization Develop and lead a high-performing quality and process control team. Establish clear ownership, performance metrics, and standardized work practices. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Process Control & Risk Management Lead the implementation and maintenance of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans. Identify process risks and develop effective preventive controls, monitoring systems, and response plans. Continuously evaluate and improve process control strategies. Process Stability & Performance Improvement Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability analysis to reduce variation and improve manufacturing performance. Optimize production processes to increase yield, throughput, and operational efficiency. Drive initiatives that improve process consistency and reliability. Quality Management Systems Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). Oversee internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), measurement system analysis (MSA), and compliance activities. Integrate quality data systems to support real-time performance monitoring and decision-making. Continuous Improvement Lead structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as DMAIC and 8D. Analyze quality data and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Implement sustainable corrective actions and standardize best practices across operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Operations, Production, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes. Support new product introductions by ensuring quality planning and process readiness. Communicate quality performance and improvement initiatives to leadership. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience within a manufacturing quality organization. At least 5 years of leadership experience managing and developing technical teams. Strong experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and CAPA. Experience utilizing statistical analysis and process capability tools to drive continuous improvement. Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
