Job Description

Position Description and Purpose:
Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer that partners with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a myriad of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products. Key Essential Functions/Duties:
Facilitate and lead improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools.

Partner with business units to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.

Conduct root cause analysis and develop actionable solutions to address performance gaps.

Train and coach employees at all levels on CI methodologies and tools.

Monitor and report on project outcomes, including cost savings, productivity gains, and quality improvements.

Support the development and deployment of standard work, visual management, and performance metrics.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement through engagement, communication, and recognition.

Collaborate with leadership to align CI initiatives with strategic goals and KPIs.

Maintain documentation and ensure sustainability of implemented improvements.
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process engineering.

Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication abilities.

Experience with CI tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, DMAIC, and PDCA.Proficiency in data analysis and project management software.
