Facilities Operations Analyst Boys Town tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Nebraska, Omaha Sep 02, 2026

Provides operational, financial, asset management, and business systems support for Facilities Operations. Partners with Facilities leadership to support budgeting, financial reporting, capital project tracking, asset management, workforce administration, and operational performance analysis. Develops reports, monitors key operational and financial metrics, identifies process improvement opportunities, and supports informed decision-making across maintenance, construction, real estate, fleet, utilities, and facility services functions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Provides operational, financial, and administrative support to Facilities leadership.

Performs accounting and financial responsibilities including requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and purchasing card transactions.

Tracks operating expenses and capital expenditures and assists with budget monitoring, forecasting, and year-end projections.

Coordinates monthly expense reporting and reconciles expenditures with Finance.

Supports audits and maintains required financial documentation.

Reviews, audits, and approves timekeeping records and maintains workforce-related records.

Coordinates training compliance and supports departmental business systems.

Helps in developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational analyses.

Analyzes maintenance, utility, fleet, real estate, construction, and operational cost data.

Supports capital project budget tracking and asset management activities.

Monitors facilities, fleet, equipment, and lease-related inventories.

Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports operational efficiency initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping principles.

Knowledge of facilities operations, maintenance, construction, asset management, or related business functions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to create reports, dashboards, presentations, and financial models.

Experience working with ERP, CMMS, asset management, or financial systems.

Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of three years of experience in facilities operations, business operations, finance, accounting, budgeting, project coordination, or related analytical support roles required.

Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Facility Management, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience supporting facilities, maintenance, construction, property management, healthcare, education, or real estate operations preferred.

Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, capital project tracking, or asset management preferred.

Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, CMMS platforms, ERP systems, or business intelligence reporting tools preferred.

Experience creating dashboards, Power BI, and KPI reporting preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT

Position usually requires little to moderate physical activity. Handling of average weight objects up to 15 pounds or standing and/or walking or at a keyboard, workstation, or desk.
