Job:

Drive the implementation, communication, training and auditing of company and industry best practices for a major aerospace and defense company. Partner with business-area and functional leadership to develop, deploy and execute process improvements that support lean, efficient and successful operations. This is a part-time onsite contract (about 16 hours per week, 4 hours a day, 4 days a week) through 12/31/2026. Key Responsibilities Develop, deploy and execute process improvements with business-area and functional leadership. Implement meaningful metrics that drive continuous improvement and solve strategic issues. Coordinate and lead internal and external audit and appraisal processes and share the results. Train teams on and audit adherence to company and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree). Typically 6-8 years of relevant process improvement experience. Current Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (or willing to immediately begin attaining it). Experience with continuous improvement, strategic problem solving and internal/external audits and appraisals. Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and CMMI process standards. Experience with program management processes, standards and certification.
