Contract Duration:
2 months Role Overview The Fund Services team supports the setup, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management of Alternative investment funds. The team works with internal business groups and external service providers to help ensure fund launch & life cycle activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely. The candidate will provide analytical and project management coordination for launch of funds and fund lifecycle events, working alongside experienced team members. This role is suited to an early-career candidate seeking practical exposure to asset management operations, investment products, and the fund lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day project coordination support for new fund launches and other fund-related activities. Maintain project plans, launch checklists, trackers, and internal workflow tools under the direction of senior team members. Schedule working-group meetings, organize materials, prepare draft agendas, and document meeting notes and action items. Follow up with internal stakeholders on assigned tasks, required information, and upcoming deadlines. Maintain accurate records for fund launches, fund changes, restructurings, and terminations. Assist with collecting and organizing information required for internal system setup and external service-provider onboarding. Support the preparation of status reports, management updates, presentation materials, and working-group documentation. Set up new funds in firm's systems based on fund documentation and internal information. Perform basic data validation to confirm that information is complete and accurately reflected across trackers and supporting materials. Identify missing information, overdue deliverables, or potential process issues and escalate them to the appropriately. Support ad hoc operational projects and process-improvement initiatives. Develop a foundational understanding of asset management operations, investment funds, and end-to-end fund lifecycle activities. Basic Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills, with close attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks and meet established deadlines. Ability to follow documented procedures, ask questions, and escalate issues appropriately. Comfort working collaboratively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and able to handle business information appropriately. Genuine interest in learning about investment products, fund operations, and asset management. Familiarity & experience in asset management & program management (preferred).
