This person will be assigned Sherwin-Williams Districts based upon geographic location for which they will be solely responsible for managing relationships with vendors completing final mile deliveries on behalf of Sherwin Williams stores. They will work with the Districts to ensure that carrier selection is made according to the site's needs, quality of service, cost, and commitments. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Position Responsibilities Manage daily execution of third-party final mile courier deliveries: store to store and store to customer. Manage approximately 40 third-party courier vendor relationships and $60MM in expenses. Continually solicit new couriers to ensure adequate availability and best cost options. Negotiate freight and assessorial rates for all vendors managed. Support the onboarding and integration processes with the logistics software company and freight pay provider. Provide daily support for delivery service partners and stores. Monitor service levels and effectively identify KPIs Build and generate courier financial and operational performance reports to optimize business processes. Continuous process improvements that drive efficiency across all job functions. General ad hoc tasks, reports, and projects relating to third-party couriers and the Local Courier Delivery Program.
Position Requirements Required:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience 1+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with business partners Ability to exceed performance expectations and to meet department and company goals Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
