Job Description:
Role Overview:
As the Continuous Improvement/Quality Manager, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of quality across our processes. You will lead efforts to enhance efficiency, optimize quality assurance practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement:
Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, focusing on enhancing efficiency and reducing waste. Lead cross-functional teams to identify areas for process optimization and implement innovative solutions to improve productivity. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other quality improvement tools to drive measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs), such as production cycle time, scrap rates, and on-time delivery.
Quality Management:
Maintain a quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality, identify deviations from standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify underlying issues affecting quality performance and implement preventive measures to mitigate recurrence.
Monitoring KPIs and Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, productivity, and efficiency, and develop reports to track performance trends over time. Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans to address performance gaps. Prepare and present regular reports on key business metrics and quality performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to employees at all levels on quality assurance processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and best practices. Foster a culture of accountability and ownership for quality among employees, empowering them to actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a strong background in quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, with a track record of driving measurable improvements in operational performance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous learning. Expertise in

2015 quality management system standards and requirements, with experience implementing and maintaining
ISO 9001
