Job Description

Implement and sustain continuous improvement activities and projects with functional teams for production and logistics in the plant. Perform other duties as per request within agreed job competences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive continuous improvement activities utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Responsible to lead Lean manufacturing efforts to manage safety, productivity and quality
- Coordinate with Engineering to assist in improvement projects to meet and exceed KPIs
- Responsible for gathering data and analyzing manufacturing process and procedures
- Facilitate kaizen events to support continuous improvement goals
- Investigate issues related to gaps in performance KPIs.
- Support day-to-day performance goals in manufacturing and business processes
- Provide leadership updates on project objectives, performance measures, issues and risks
- Assist with establishing culture of continuous improvement
- Assist with training and coaching employees in Lean methodologies
- Provide support for manufacturing personnel related to continuous improvement efforts
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
- Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma. Some college preferred
- Minimum 2+ years continuous improvement experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Green belt or higher and/or Lean-Kaizen certification preferred
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Good teamwork and exhibits positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong Excel and PPT skills
- Ability to work independently and self-driven
