WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Ad Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This position will support the Ad Operations Manager and Ad Operations Specialist in ensuring smooth execution of digital advertising campaigns across our portfolio of Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) partners. As part of the Ad Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in content updates, publisher reporting, site audits, ad fulfillment, and campaign management tasks. This role requires excellent time management, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving and working behind the scenes to ensure that digital campaigns run flawlessly. You take pride in keeping projects on track, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that every ad placement meets our high standards for performance and quality. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in advertising operations within the travel and tourism industry, gaining hands-on experience in digital advertising, ad trafficking, and campaign performance analysis.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AD OPERATIONS ANALYST AT TEMPEST
Assist in content updates related to digital ad placements and sponsored content. Generate and analyze monthly publisher reports to track ad performance and ensure accuracy. Generate and distribute monthly & quarterly advertiser reports. Conduct site audits to verify correct ad placements and identify any discrepancies. Manage ad fulfillment for content submissions, ensuring timely deployment. Manage the team inbox, create task tickets, and manage/forward communications. Review and process contract renewals & expirations. Collect and organize print artwork from advertisers for print campaigns. Coordinate with publishers for approval of ad placements and ensure compliance with guidelines. Assist in push/pull ad operations on sprint days, checking for accuracy and functionality. Email clients when ads go live, providing confirmation and any necessary updates. Run date modifications, including extensions and cancellations as needed. Enable and disable ads for gap coverage. Work closely with the Ad Operations team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to digital advertising. SKILLS Basic knowledge of digital advertising operations is a plus, but not required (on-the-job training provided). Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Experience with ad management platforms (Google Ad Manager, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with website content management systems is beneficial. Comfortable working with task management tools (DoneDone, Monday.com, Trello, or similar). Basic understanding of digital marketing, analytics (Google Analytics), and SEO is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Professional and clear communication skills (email, phone, and virtual meetings).
