About the Role Leads or supports reconciliation and oversight of the Investment Book of Record, independently managing complex accounts and workflows with minimal supervision. The role coordinates and validates security transfers and reconciliations, resolves complex operational issues across internal and external parties, manages relationships with business partners and BNYM, and drives scalable process improvements focused on risk and controls. It requires deep subject-matter expertise, knowledge of related disciplines, leadership of Middle Office projects or workstreams, and the ability to advise and support less-experienced colleagues. Role Summary This position requires deep knowledge of operating procedures, a strong understanding of key risks, and the ability to navigate the organization effectively to resolve issues in a timely and thoughtful manner. Success in the role requires managing competing priorities in a production environment and shifting seamlessly between tasks. The incumbent works under general supervision, with direct accountability for assigned workflows and processes, serves as a subject matter expert on projects, drives process improvement initiatives, and manages complex processes and issues escalated by internal partners Responsibilities Process and oversee portfolio transactions, ensuring appropriate controls, accuracy, and compliance while escalating or correcting identified issues. Serve as a liaison among operations teams, relationship managers, portfolio managers, custodians, vendors, and clients to communicate account information and resolve inquiries. Validate third-party reconciliations, support or conduct account transitions to outsourced-provider platforms, and provide feedback on service quality and timeliness. Analyze operational metrics, identify control or process deficiencies, recommend improvements, and guide less-experienced colleagues on procedures and error prevention
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 1+ years of total relevant work experiencePreferred:
Prior experience with Middle Office reconciliation, security Transfers, and other operational activities. Knowledge of third-party vendor oversight, as well as overall Reconciliation experience. Strong technical skills- in depth knowledge of systems, processes, or function (i.
