The Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, Senior Associate role on the Derivatives & Collateral Management team may be the perfect next step. As part of Vanguard's Middle Office organization, our team plays a critical role in protecting Vanguard funds by ensuring appropriate collateral is exchanged with some of the world's largest financial institutions. We serve as a key control point between our investment, trading, and external counterparties, helping to mitigate risk and support the firm's derivatives activity. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to financial markets, derivatives, risk management, and investment operations while working in a collaborative environment. You'll have the chance to drive process improvements, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and develop expertise in a specialized area that directly supports Vanguard's investment business. What You'll Do Manage daily collateral operations and relationships with assigned broker-dealers and custodians. Investigate and resolve operational breaks, reconciliation differences, and complex exceptions. Lead and support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and risk management. Partner with internal teams and external organizations to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations. Serve as a subject matter expert and help strengthen procedures, controls, and team knowledge. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of related work experience Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related degree preferred Experience with derivatives and/or collateral management is preferred but not required Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills This role is designated as a Fund Access Person position and is subject to applicable trading restrictions and requirements.
