Senior Operations Analyst
West Hartford, Connecticut, United States Senior Operations Analyst Location:
Greater Hartford, CT Area (Hybrid)

Full-Time, Exempt Position Overview Our client, a growing commercial finance organization, is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join its Operations team. This individual will support the day-to-day administration of lending operations, collateral reporting, loan servicing, and portfolio analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Process funding and advance requests. Maintain accurate loan and collateral information within internal systems. Review daily cash activity and reconcile loan transactions. Perform daily, weekly, and month-end operational processing and reporting. Reconcile loan balances, collateral activity, and client financial data. Monitor collateral performance and identify trends or potential risks. Assist with portfolio reporting, collateral reviews, and loan administration. Track required documentation, insurance, and compliance items. Support onboarding of new lending relationships, including system setup and operational implementation. Cross-train across core operations functions and provide team coverage as needed. Assist with special projects and other operational initiatives. Additional Responsibilities Support general ledger and accounting-related activities. Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management functions. Coordinate with banking partners regarding treasury management and client account administration. Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding operational requests and routine servicing needs. Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in banking, commercial lending, asset-based lending, commercial finance, loan operations, or a related financial services environment. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and client service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to learn new financial systems and technology platforms. Preferred Experience Experience supporting commercial loan operations or collateral administration. Exposure to portfolio reporting, reconciliations, or loan servicing. Knowledge of commercial lending documentation and operational processes is a plus.
