Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the deployment and sustainment of operational excellence initiatives within a high-speed manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for establishing foundational Continuous Improvement (CI) programs, driving organizational adoption, and creating a culture focused on safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost optimization. The organization is early in its CI journey and is seeking a hands-on leader who can build alignment across leadership and frontline teams while implementing sustainable improvement processes. This role will spend significant time on the manufacturing floor coaching teams, driving Lean initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence programs become embedded in day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the deployment and sustainment of Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across manufacturing and distribution operations, utilizing TPM, 5S, CILT, Standard Work, Visual Management, Centerlining, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Drive operational performance improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, equipment reliability, and process capability through Kaizen events, loss analysis, and structured problem solving.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, performance dashboards, project outcomes, and validated savings to ensure sustainable results.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of digital manufacturing technologies, including connected worker solutions, digital inspections, training systems, analytics, and AI-enabled applications.
  • Coach and develop leaders and frontline teams on continuous improvement principles, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects, manage project plans and timelines, and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or other technical discipline preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Industrial Performance, Reliability, or related leadership functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and driving operational or cultural transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, process improvement methodologies, and data-driven decision making.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach employees at all levels, from frontline operators to executive leadership.
  • Strong project management, analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured problem-solving methodologies to drive performance improvements.
  • Experience within consumer products, CPG, high-speed manufacturing, or production environments.
  • TPM implementation experience.
  • Experience with digital manufacturing technologies, factory automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Lean certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is a plus.
