Job Description

Shift Information:
M-Th 6:00am to 4:00pm
General Summary:
Responsible for the planning and implementation of the Quality Management System to ensure products and services meet or exceed expectations and drive a culture of continual improvement.
Principal Accountabilities:

Fosters a positive environment, always treating co-workers with dignity and respect Maintains and continually improves a documented, customer compliant quality system, based on the best practices of
ISO 9001
2015, with the end goal of achieving outstanding customer satisfaction Acts as the primary point of customer contact in support of the Quality Management System, promoting a 'can do' spirit, always representing Pro Metal Works, Inc. in a positive manner Overall responsibility for quality planning involving new product introduction (APQP) and revisions to existing products (ECN) Generate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article (FAIR) documentation per customer requirements Identifies critical characteristics, implements appropriate process controls Implement mistake proofing to fortify process controls Directs the corrective action process using 8D Problem Solving techniques, ensuring a 360-degree process Maintains a gauge calibration system that controls measuring equipment Perform 1st piece, in-process and receiving inspection; perform audits of finished product Perform Internal Audits in support of the Quality Management System Train employees on measuring equipment/gages and use of our quality management system Drives identified Continual Improvement Projects Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (Not Required) 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment Outstanding ability to review customer specifications and blueprints Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction Proficiency in basic computer skills and applications, including Microsoft Office Metallurgy background is a plus Experienced in problem solving and continuous improvement techniques Excellent organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to switch from an office to a shop floor environment on a continual basis Description of physical working environment: Clean, well lit, air-conditioned metal fabrication shop utilizing the latest industry equipment #
MO Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
