Depot Manager Opportunity Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping fleets moving? We're looking for a motivated and experienced HGV Depot Manager to take charge of our busy Bristol depot and drive operational excellence in a thriving, growing business. We're one of the UK's leading providers of fleet maintenance and workshop solutions, trusted by some of the biggest names in logistics and transport. As Depot Manager, you'll be at the heart of operations - leading a skilled team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff. You'll ensure the workshop runs smoothly, customers are delighted, and every vehicle leaves the depot road-ready and compliant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader with strong technical understanding to make their mark and progress their career. Manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Lead, motivate, and develop your team - driving performance and continuous improvement. Maintain strong client relationships and act as the go-to contact for service and operational issues. Deliver on key performance metrics including productivity, compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Oversee resource planning, workshop scheduling, and cost control. Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety, DVSA, and industry standards. Report on branch performance and contribute to wider business planning. Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within an HGV or commercial vehicle workshop. Strong technical understanding of HGV maintenance and compliance. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. A proactive, customer-first approach and commercial mindset. Confident with IT systems and workshop management software.
