Position Summary The role of the Hospitality Specialist, Cancer Support Home reports to the Cancer Support Home Manager. This position will assist with all aspects of CSH programming while upholding the CSH mission to provide hope and comfort to those on a cancer journey. This position is responsible for creating a hospitable environment and providing excellent compassionate service to all CSH clients. Essential Position Responsibilities Become proficient in boutique operations , assisting clients in the boutique, and assisting manager with maintaining inventory Enter client information and services for all CSH programming into the database and ensure accuracy Assist with overnight lodging requests, the lodging calendar, the guest check-in process, and provide facility tours Assist with overnight lodging guests needs, and provide support in guestroom preparation and cleaning Assist with planning and facilitating weekly connection activities Partner with leadership to create social media and newsletter content, and participate in community events Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education :
High school diploma or GED, required.
Licensure/Certifications :
N/A Experience :
Previous experience in the hospitality industry, public health, or with a nonprofit organization, preferred.
Work Environment:
This position will spend 50% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment and 50% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
