Healthcare Operations Director (Hospice) Full-Time | Northern Arizona An established and growing hospice organization is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to oversee operations, clinical performance, team development, business growth, and overall branch success within a well-established service area in Northern Arizona. Position Summary The Healthcare Operations Director is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of a hospice program, including clinical quality, financial performance, compliance, census growth, community outreach, and employee engagement. This leader will partner with clinical and operational teams to ensure exceptional care delivery while supporting strategic growth initiatives and maintaining regulatory excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall operations and performance of a hospice branch Inspire, mentor, and develop interdisciplinary team members Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational requirements Monitor and improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational metrics Partner with clinical leadership to support exceptional patient care and service delivery Drive census growth through relationship development and community engagement Manage branch financial performance, productivity, and resource utilization Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Support recruitment, retention, and employee development efforts Serve as a key liaison with referral sources, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders Qualifications Hospice leadership experience required Bachelor's degree preferred Registered Nurse (RN) preferred but not required Demonstrated success leading healthcare teams and operations Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance standards, and quality measures Experience managing budgets, productivity, and performance metrics Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with employees, referral partners, and community organizations Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A servant leader who values people and culture Passionate about hospice care and patient experience Results-oriented and accountable Skilled at developing and coaching teams Comfortable balancing clinical quality, operational performance, and growth Committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Annual performance bonus opportunity tied to branch performance, growth, quality outcomes, and organizational objectives Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Professional development and leadership growth opportunities Supportive and mission-driven culture Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients, families, and team members Why Join Us?
