Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Manager and lead the operation of a premier golf facility. This energetic role requires a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests alike. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee staff management, course maintenance, event coordination, and guest services, all while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, promote operational excellence, and elevate the reputation of our golf course. Responsibilities Manage daily course operations, including scheduling staff shifts and supervising team members to ensure smooth functioning. Oversee course maintenance activities to uphold optimal playing conditions and safety standards. Coordinate and execute special events such as tournaments, corporate outings, and social gatherings, ensuring seamless planning and execution. Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. Supervise staff performance through coaching, training, and conducting regular evaluations to foster a motivated and professional team. Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and oversee cash handling procedures to ensure financial efficiency. Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, event outcomes, and maintenance schedules to inform strategic decision-making. Skills Proven experience in golf course management or a similar hospitality environment with strong leadership capabilities. Demonstrated expertise in events management, including planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events. Excellent managerial decision-making skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across shifts and operational areas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, scheduling, budgeting, and communication purposes. Strong customer service orientation with exceptional interpersonal skills to engage guests positively. Experience supervising staff in fast-paced settings such as event venues or resort environments; previous assistant manager experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of operational management practices including budgeting, cash handling, safety protocols (including first aid and CPR), and technical proficiency related to course equipment or hospitality systems. Effective team management skills combined with managerial communication that motivates staff and promotes a collaborative work environment.
