We are looking for someone who notices what everyone else walks past Desert Haven Home Management cares for luxury vacation rentals, second homes, and residential properties across Sedona and the Verde Valley. Owners hire us because we promise their home is guest-ready, protected, and cared for whether they are in town or two thousand miles away.

- Quality control is how we keep that promise.
It is not a clipboard exercise. It is the last set of eyes before a guest walks through the door, and it is the difference between a five-star review and a phone call we do not want to get. We are hiring one Field Quality Control Specialist to own that final check.
What you would actually do:
Primary role: quality control You are the person who walks into a home after it has been cleaned and decides whether it is ready. You check the details a guest notices and a cleaner in a hurry might miss: the top of the refrigerator, the shower door track, the linens, the staging, the supplies, the smell of the room when you open the door. You document what you find with photos and clear notes, and you tell us before the guest arrives, not after. You are also the Desert Haven person on the ground on your service days. That means inspecting, handling issues as they come up, coordinating with cleaners, and calling a homeowner directly when something needs their decision. You will not be alone — we keep a helper scheduled and reachable — but you are the one making the call.
Secondary role:
field support We will train you on home watch visits, quarterly maintenance walkthroughs, supply and inventory checks, and how we handle issues and emergencies. On a week when everything happens at once, these are yours too. Who this is right for You will do well here if you are:
- Detail-obsessed in a useful way. You spot the thing that is wrong and you write it down clearly enough that someone else can fix it without calling you.
- Comfortable working alone and deciding. Much of the time nobody is looking over your shoulder. You will have written protocols for the situations we can anticipate, and good judgment for the ones we cannot.
- A clear communicator in writing and on the phone. You may be calling a homeowner to tell them their shower is leaking. That call needs to be calm, specific, and professional.
- Reliable on weekends. Saturday and Sunday are part of the schedule, every week. They are not optional.
- Kind but straight with people. You will be giving cleaners feedback on their work. The good ones want it. Delivering it without making anyone feel small is most of the job. Requirements
- Professional spoken and written English. You will be communicating with homeowners directly.
- A valid driver's license and legal permission to drive.
- Your own reliable vehicle. Our properties are spread across Sedona and the Verde Valley and you will be driving between them all day. Vehicle costs, fuel, and maintenance are yours; they are reflected in the rate we pay.
- A smartphone and comfort using apps for scheduling, photos, and reporting. We use Operto; we will train you on it.
- Availability Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday , roughly 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm for the days when something happens. Some days end early; some days run long.
- Located in or near Sedona , or genuinely willing to make that commute five days a week including weekends. Nice to have, not required
- Hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or property management background.
- Conversational Spanish. Much of our cleaning team speaks Spanish, and being able to talk with them directly would make you far more effective. It is a genuine advantage, not a requirement.
- Experience with vacation rental platforms or property management software. What we offer
- A flat weekly rate, paid year-round. Not per job, not seasonal. Sedona slows down in the summer. Your rate does not.
- Room to earn more. Performance bonuses for holding the standard, and bonuses tied to how long you stay.
- 30 to 35 hours a week, five days. Consistent and predictable.
- Real training and written protocols , so you are not left guessing.
