About the role A commercial specialty subcontractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead field execution across complex construction projects in Arizona. You will organize field teams, coordinate with general contractors and other trades, and solve issues that arise on site. The work involves building envelope systems, including joint sealants, waterproofing, expansion joints, firestopping, and coatings. The right candidate understands how commercial projects are built, can read plans and scopes, and communicates clearly with foremen and crews about what needs to be completed each day. Key responsibilities

• Organize field teams, labor, tools, materials, and schedules across active projects.
• Review construction plans and scope sheets, including those in Procore, to prepare and direct field work.
• Communicate daily priorities and production expectations to foremen and crews, then follow up on progress.
• Coordinate with general contractors, project teams, and other trades to address site conditions, sequencing, and schedule changes.
• Resolve complex field issues by assessing plans, scope, installation requirements, and work completed by other trades.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity, and costs while using company resources responsibly.
• Identify risks early and help prevent delays, rework, and problems at project closeout.
• Maintain clear communication between the field and office, including timely updates on project needs and concerns. Qualifications
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including substantial experience coordinating or managing commercial field operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and job site practices in Arizona.
• Ability to read plans, interpret scopes of work, and organize crews to meet daily and project goals.
• Experience using Procore to access project information and scope sheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment when working with field teams, general contractors, and other trades.
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions 3, 5, 7, and 9 is preferred.
• Ability to work on site in Tempe and travel to projects throughout Arizona. Candidates based in Maricopa County are preferred. Benefits
