Horizon Spa & Pool Parts, Inc. is a pool and spa parts distributor catering to the repair parts and equipment needs of service, repair, construction, and retail companies nationwide since 1992. Job Overview:
The Manager of Finance Operations , Horizon will be responsible for managing financial planning, operational finance, performance reporting, and business analysis for the Horizon business unit. This role will partner closely with operations, sales, supply chain, and corporate finance teams to support profitability, strengthen forecasting and controls, provide timely financial insights, and align Horizon's financial execution with the broader objectives of Leslie's, Inc.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Horizon leadership to support financial strategies that drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency. Serve as a finance business partner to operational leaders, translating financial insights into actionable recommendations. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen financial performance across Horizon. Support alignment of Horizon's finance operations with Leslie's corporate systems, reporting standards, controls, and transformation programs. Manage budgeting, forecasting, monthly close analysis, and financial performance reviews for Horizon operations. Manage operating expense analysis, capital planning, and financial modeling with a strong focus on margin improvement and cost control. Provide financial support for supply chain, inventory, pricing, and branch initiatives to improve working capital and operational efficiency. Manage and develop finance team members, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong financial stewardship. Promote process discipline, talent development, and cross-functional partnership across the organization. Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to support business performance management. Support commercial and operational initiatives through pricing analysis, customer profitability insights, and investment business cases. Monitor market trends, customer demand, inventory performance, and cost drivers to inform proactive financial recommendations. Leverage digital tools and data analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, decision-making, and financial transparency.
Qualifications:
7+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or operational finance experience, ideally in distribution, B2B wholesale, retail, or related industries. Proven track record of financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business partnership. Strong understanding of operational disciplines including supply chain, sales, inventory, branch operations, and gross margin management. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a matrixed corporate structure. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
