Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a Completion Specialist I to support oilfield completion operations in both field and shop environments. This position will work directly with customers and field crews, operate and maintain completion equipment, and assist with the installation, testing, running, and redressing of completion tools. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, dependable, and willing to travel. Previous oilfield experience is preferred, particularly experience involving completions, workovers, drilling, cementing, or fracturing. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite customer service and support during field operations. Operate, maintain, and prepare TRB equipment for field and shop use. Work effectively on drilling and workover rigs. Perform installation services for downhole packers and service tools. Assist with running and redressing completion tools, including packers, bridge plugs, scrapers, bumper subs, swivels, wash tools, control valves, and related equipment. Operate mobile test units and accurately record test data. Monitor rig activity and report operational information to appropriate personnel. Complete job reports, field service tickets, tool tracking, and other required documentation accurately and on time. Assist with shop operations, equipment preparation, maintenance, and deliveries as needed. Identify opportunities to improve operating methods, efficiency, performance, and quality. Participate in required JSA and safety meetings and submit observation cards and other safety documentation. Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Travel out of town as required to support field operations. Remain available for 24-hour call status. Qualifications Previous oilfield experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools. Working knowledge of ID/OD calipers, tape measures, pipe wrenches, and similar tools. Ability to perform basic calculations involving oilfield volumes, pressures, and forces. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail when recording measurements, test results, and field information. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and field personnel. Strong commitment to safe work practices. Ability and willingness to work outdoors and in demanding field environments. Ability and willingness to travel out of town. Ability to work on a 24-hour call schedule. Must maintain a clean driving record and meet company requirements to operate company vehicles.
